Everyone loves pizza, but there are so many different ways to eat it. Bubble pizza is a fun new take on an old favorite that is quick, easy, and delicious.
How is bubble pizza different from the pizza we all know and love?
The crust of bubble pizza is made from cut-up premade biscuits. Can you say EASY? While I love a good 27 step, intricate recipe, there just isn’t always time. This recipe requires only ten minutes of prep. No mixing dough, kneading, or rising required.
Something else that makes this recipe so unique (and delicious), is the fact that the sauce is mixed with the crust. It makes every bite pack a punch and is something you will not find in any other pizza!
Does bubble pizza require any special equipment?
Nope! Bubble pizza may actually be one of the simplest recipes I’ve ever made. All you will need is a bowl, a knife or pair of scissors, a spoon, and a 9×13 pan. No special tools, no fancy equipment, not even a pizza stone!
Does is matter what brand of biscuits I use?
Absolutely not! Pillsbury is pretty common at any grocery store, but any brand will work. Typically, I go for the original flavor, but I think it would be so fun to experiment with different types/flavors of biscuits. Just stay away from the sweet varieties!
Sauce is also up to you! It would be so fun to do a cheesy sauce and top with eggs, bacon, and more cheese for a fun breakfast take on this recipe. Another fun idea would be alfredo sauce instead of pizza sauce with bacon crumbles and spinach.
Can I make bubble pizza ahead?
Yes, you can! If you plan to make bubble pizza ahead, put the whole dish together in a 9×13 pan. Cover with plastic wrap to make airtight and freeze for up to two months. When you are ready to bake it, pull the bubble pizza out of the freezer and pop in the oven. This would be a great idea when taking meals to people who have recently lost someone, had a baby, had surgery, or another similar situation where someone is unable to cook.

What toppings can I put on my bubble pizza?
The sky is the limit here! Of course you could try a classic pepperoni pizza, but there are so many other options. We love sausage, mushroom, (sausage and mushroom), or ground beef! Ground beef pizza is not super common, but cook it, season it, and sprinkle it on you pizza. You might find your new favorite!
You could also try some fun combinations such as taco pizza (ground beef, tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, taco sauce), mac and cheese pizza, or a buffalo chicken pizza. The possibilities are endless here!
