These cheeseburger bites are your new favorite on-the-go food!
These cheeseburger bites are perfect for a last minute meal, on the go bite to eat, or a tractor cab meal.
Cheeseburger bites (AKA cheeseburger muffin cups in my family) are the perfect tractor cab food.
Each muffin is only half a biscuit packed with beef and cheese. Help your farmer (or yourself) hit those protein requirements by pairing these with some cottage cheese, yogurt cup, or a protien shake. I love these ones from Fairlife!
What do I need to make this recipe?

- Premade biscuits
- Ground beef
- Cajun Seasoning
- Chili Powder
- Barbeque Sauce
- Worcestershire Sauce
- Shredded Cheese of Choice
Can I freeze these cheeseburger bites?
Yes you can! These cheeseburger muffins can be frozen for up to 6 months if stored properly. Place in an airtight container or bag for freezing.
Reheating instructions:
Oven: Put muffins on a baking sheet and reheat in a preheated oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 12 minutes.
Air Fryer: Set air fryer at 400 degrees Fahrenheit and reheat muffins for 10 minutes.
Microwave: (I do not recommend this, but it is possible in a pinch) Cover a plate with a paper towel. Place muffin on the paper towel and microwave for 4 minutes.
Why do you separate the biscuits in half?
There are a few reasons for doing this. First of all, a whole biscuit will fill up too much of the muffin tin. There will not be any room left for your beef and cheese. Second, (and less obvious) you have to stretch the biscuit to create a cup to fill with meat. If you use a full biscuit, it will not stretch out as well and will continue to shrink back to its original size.
What type of cheese is best for these cups?
Short answer, anything you like.

Long answer, you have quite a few options. Cheddar and American are classics. If your goal is a classic cheeseburger, you can’t go wrong with those two choices. If that’s not quite your speed, you have quite a few options. I personally love to top my cheeseburger bites with muenster cheese. Smoked gouda would also pair perfectly with this recipe.
Why are these called cheeseburger bites?
These are the perfect two-bite, on-the-go cheeseburger meal! Serve them with a veggie, or of course – FRENCH FRIES! We love these as a tractor meal because they are mess free and easy to eat!
