If you live somewhere in the middle of nowhere like me, it’s quite a drive to the nearest Chick-fil-A. Sure you can buy it at Walmart, but this copycat Chick-fil-A sauce is homemade and it tastes better if I do say so myself.

Ingredients For This Copycat Chick-fil-A Sauce

Basically.. combine all of your favorite sauces to make your new go-to.

Honey – You know I’m going to say local honey, but if you can’t find that use what you have.

Barbecue Sauce – I like Stubbs or Sweet Baby Rays, but you can get creative and use what you like.

Mayonnaise – Make your own or use your favorite.

Mustard – I’m going to tell you to use yellow mustard, but I’d love to try this with Grey Poupon.

Lemon Juice – Squeeze your own if you have lemons on hand.

Ground Mustard – This is one ingredient I won’t tell you to make your own!

How To Make This Chick-fil-A Sauce

Let’s be real. Sauces are so simple and this is no exception.

Mix all of your ingredients and stir.

Let chill of at least 30 minutes or overnight. Serve and enjoy!

Storing this Chick-fil-A Sauce

I like to store this sauce in in the fridge in a squeeze bottle. It will last in the fridge for at least a month. (To be honest I keep it for double that, but I won’t recommend that to you.)

Serving Reccomendations

  • Chicken Strips – Obviously. This sauce is LITERALLY made for chicken. Dunk your strips or put them on a sandwich and pour on that sauce.
  • Hamburgers – Stay with me here. Forget the typical condiments, copycat Chick-fil-A sauce is where it’s at.
  • Salad Dressing – A bed of greens topped with crispy chicken, hard boiled egg, crunchy veggies, some shredded pepper jack, and this sauce. Delicious.
  • Veggie Dip – Use this sauce to dip some crunchy carrots or celery.

Tips For This Copycat Chick-fil-A Sauce.

  • Get creative: Mix up the sauces and flavors that you use in this sauce. You can take it sweeter or spicy or in whatever direction you’d like.
  • Store in a squeeze bottle: I like these on Amazon.
